Everyone hits walls in life. Sometimes we don’t even see them right in front of us.
Walls are frustrating. Probably because at the time, they feel so permanent, and make us feel completely stuck, or perhaps even humiliated because what we thought was a clearing, may actually just be a thicker wall.
So I thought to myself, what if more people took the time to really feel these mental walls? To really see them for what they are?
We could find the beauty in them. That they are a lesson to help us be stronger, or more clever even, as we found our way through them or around them. Or that they will always be in our way, and we must turn around and head in a completely different direction.
This is where I’m torn. However, I will not give up hope, and I will recognize that in the future I will learn something of value. But for now, I will pause before deciding how to proceed.
